Educational Development Conference starts activities

Damascus, SANA- Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, Educational Development Conference, which is organized by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the Higher Education Ministry, kicked off on Thursday at the Conferences Palace in Damascus.

The Conference held under the slogan “A Future Educational Vision on Enhancing the Building of Human and Homeland” will last till 28^th of the current month.

Participants in the conference will discuss the future national strategy of education in Syria and institutionalizing the alternative education, integration of education and higher education systems, in addition to developing the educational curricula and its components and their role in building the homeland.

Developing the vocational and technical education and many other issues related to the educational process in the country will be tackled during the conference.

Several workshops on the vocational education, the curricula and their components in a changeable world, integration of the educational institutions at the pre-university and university stages, and the educational integration of the disabled, kindergartens and the private education will be held on the sidelines of the conference.

Arab and foreign intellectuals and experts from the Education and Higher Education Ministries, academic and research centers and the national civil society bodies in Syria and representatives of the international organizations concerned will take part in the conference.
