Iran stresses importance of cooperation with UN to settle crisis in Syria

Tehran, SANA- Senior Aide of the Iranian Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs Ali Asghar Khaji stressed the need for cooperation with the UN to settle the crisis in Syria.

During a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday with United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen, Asghar Khaji stressed the importance of eliminating terrorism in Syria and maintaining the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as the only way for finding a solution to the crisis in it.
