Wide Iranian participation in 61st edition of Damascus International Fair

Tehran, SANA- Director of the Iranian pavilion at Damascus International Fair  Mohamad Reza Khanzadeh announced that more than 60 Iranian companies will participate in the 61st edition of the fair through a pavilion that extends over an area of 1200 square meters.

In a statement to SANA, Khanzadeh added that dozens of the Iranian companies which work in the domains of heavy industries, cars, spare parts, construction materials and the technical, engineering, food, chemical and petrochemical services and houseware will participate in Damascus International Fair which will start activities on Aug, 28 and will last till Sep. 6th.

He hailed the facilitations provided by the Syrian Government for the participants in the fair, particularly the Iranian companies, expressing hope that Syria will participate in the fairs held in Iran.

“The friendly states which have stood by Syria during the crisis, today should shoulder their responsibility in cooperating with the country in the reconstruction stage, Khanzadeh said.

He added “Holding such international and regional event in the current circumstances affirm Syria’s readiness for achieving full victory over the unjust economic embargo imposed on it and for working with a strong determination to achieve the reconstruction and enhance the development in Syria more than ever.

38 Arab and foreign states have confirmed their participation in the 61st edition of Damascus International Fair over an area of 100 square meters varying between the roofed and unroofed areas.
