Temperatures around average, weather relatively hot in eastern, Badia areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and clear in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi desert” regions.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and it will become active in the afternoon while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20-37, Daraa 32/18, Homs 33/21, Lattakia 31/24, Aleppo 37/22 and Deir Ezzor 40/26.
