Weapons, ammo, explosive belts seized in Damascus Countryside

Damascus, SANA- The General Directorate of Customs on Thursday seized amounts of weapons, ammunition, and explosive belts left behind by terrorists in Damascus countryside.

Members from the Directorate of Combating Smuggling uncovered a cache of weapons and ammo left behind by the terrorist groups in a hill in Damascus countryside, Head of Directorate of Combating Smuggling in the Customs Department Ghiyath Hamdan told journalists.

The seized weapons included rifles, machineguns, RPGs, improvised explosive devices, explosive belts, shoulder-mounted launchers, satellite communication devices, and large amounts of various munitions.
