Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday accepted credentials of Dr. Hifzur Rahman as Ambassador of the Indian Republic and of Fabio Vaz Pitaluga as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Brazil to the Syrian Arab Republic.
President al-Assad received the two ambassadors separately and wished them success in their missions.
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem and Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam attended the ceremony.
The two new ambassadors were received and seen off at al-Shaab Palace as per the usual protocol.
