Bangkok, SANA_ The Syrian national swimming team earned a silver and a bronze medal in the first day of the currently held Thailand International Championship.
Swimmer, Omar Abbas, won the silver medal in 200m freestyle in a time of 13.53.1 while the bronze medal went to swimmer Ayman Kalziyeh in 200m butterfly with a time 02.02.05 .
swimmer Kalziyeh snatched the gold medal of 200 m butterfly, the silver of 400 m medley, a Syrian record number in the 50 m butterfly in the Slovenian international championship while Abbas achieved a Syrian record in the 200 m freestyle.
