22-truck aid convoy sent to Aleppo countryside

Aleppo, SANA-A humanitarian aid convoy was sent on Sunday to families in Aleppo western and northern countryside.

The convoy was organized by Aleppo governorate, in cooperation with the United Nations Office for the Coordination Humanitarian Affairs and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Aleppo.

“The convoy,” said member of Aleppo social affairs provincial council Dr. Abdul-Ghani Kassab “was bound for the residents of Nubbul, al-Zahraa, Efrin and Urum, and included 22 trucks carrying relief and food aid, blankets, utensils, detergents and medicine.”

The convoy is part of the government’s efforts to get relief aid to afflicted citizens who have borne the brunt of the current crisis, with terrorists laying siege to their localities or destroying their livelihoods.
