Abu Dhabi, SANA_ A delegation of Syrian businessmen toured Abu Dhabi’s Masdar city and was briefed on renewable energy investment experience which depends on clean and renewable energy.
In a statement to SANA, executive director of Masdar’s urban development, Yousef Baselaib, said that the delegation’s visit to the city is part of the exchange of expertise and the development of sustainable business, expressing hope for more communication with Syrian businessmen in different fields.
For his part, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Syria, Mohammad Hamsho, the head of the delegation, assured that the visit aims to reactivate the commercial relations and investment between businessmen in the two countries, especially that Syria is in regard of launching the process of reconstruction and developing the economy.
For his part, the president of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside, Samer al-Debes, described as “very important” the visit of the delegation to the United Arab Emirates which was upon the invitation of the UAE Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) .
He highlighted the great interest of the UAE-FCCI in setting up investment partnerships and contributing to industrial projects in Syria, pointed to the desire of Emirati businessmen to invest in Syria.
