Damascus, SANA- A delegation from Tunisian youth organizations that is currently visiting Damascus in response to an invitation of the Revolutionary Youth Union participated on Thursday in a blood donation campaign in support of the Syria Arab Army’s wounded personnel.
Speaking to SANA, Head of the national organization of Tunisian youth Ziyad al-Maher said that the visit aims to celebrate with the Syrian people victory in the battle against terrorism being the battle of the entire Arab nation.
Members of the delegation also affirmed their standing by the side of the Syrian Arab Army in the fight against terrorism and their solidarity with Syria and its steadfastness.
The Tunisian delegation also participated in the afforestation campaign, which carried out at al-Wahda park in Damascus and al-Sabboura area in Damascus countryside where they considered that the participation in the campaign is an expression of the symbolism of restoring normal life to Syria and a proof of the cultural dimension between the two friendly countries -Syria and Tunisia.
Members of the Revolutionary Youth Union also indicated that the visit paid by the Tunisian delegation highlights the important role of the Syrian youth in defending the homeland and re-building it, affirming the union’s keenness to reactivate relations with the youth organizations in various Arab and foreign countries.
