Syria harvests two silvers, bronze at Karate International Championship,  Russia

Moscow, SANA- Syrian Karate team won two silver medals and a bronze medal at the Karate International Friendship Championship currently held in Russia.

The two silver medals were won by athlete Diana Mohammad at the competitions of 68kg category and in the free weight competitions while the bronze medal was harvested by Khalil Salman at the competitions of the U-75 kg category.

Chairman of the Syrian Karate Union told SANA that the championship is one of the most important championships and that winning three medals in it by the end of the current year is a good achievement that will be an incentive for winning more medals in the foreign participations in the future.

He added that the Syrian team only participated with athletes Khalil Salman and Diana Mohammad.
