Syria qualifies for semifinals of 2018 FIBA Under-18 Women’s Asian Championship

New Delhi, SANA – Syria’s U18 women’s basketball team qualified for the semifinals of the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Women’s Asian Championship currently being held in the Indian city of Bangalore.

The qualification came after beating the Samoan team 44-37.

The Syrian team has already beaten the Kazakhstani and Hong Kong teams within the Group B matches of the championship, which put Syria in the lead of the group with 6 points from 3 wins.
