Syria, DPRK discuss developing parliamentary relations

Pyongyang, SANA-A delegation from the People’s Assembly discussed with members from the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) means of developing parliamentary relations between Syria and DPRK.

Vice-Chairmen of the Supreme People’s Assembly An Tong-chun hailed the courageous positions of the Syrian people and their leadership in the fight against terrorism.

An Tong-chan considered that the visit of the Syrian delegation shows the strength of the friendly relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of enhancing them via the Syrian DPRK friendship committee.

For his part, Deputy Speaker of the People’s Assembly Najdat Anzour said that Syria continues to work on three principles which are eliminating terrorism, achieving national reconciliation and reconstructing what has been destroyed by terrorism.

The Syrian parliamentary delegation is on a current visit to DPRK which started on Tuesday with the aim of bolstering parliamentary relations between the two countries and benefiting from the DPRK experience in various levels.
