Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bahram Qassemi affirmed that Syria has achieved a great and precious victory over terrorism and that Syria backed by the resistance axis will always stand in face of the US and Western conspiracies.
In a TV statement, Qassemi noted that after years of defeats inflicted upon terrorists in Syria, Iraq and the region, the US and some of the region’s states which support Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization still hope to achieve their previous dreams and they try to undermine the Syrian state.
He asserted that these states will absolutely fail in achieving their goals as long as Syria and the resistance have a strong will to stand in face of the Western conspiracies.
He indicated that a tripartite summit will be held between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and head of the Turkish Regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan on September 7th to follow up the developments of the situation in Syria and the region in general and to enhance cooperation with the aim of realizing security and peace.
