International media delegation inspects reality of liberated areas

Damascus, SANA- A media delegation embracing 47 journalists representing international media outlets on Monday visited Jdeidet Yabous border crossing and they inspected the reality of work at the temporary housing center which receives the displaced Syrians who return to the homeland and they inspected the medical and food services provided to them.

The delegation is visiting Syria to inspect the reality of the liberated areas and the services provided by the state to guarantee the return of the displaced.

Members of the delegation toured Yelda town in Eastern Ghouta, and they inspected the restoration works at the schools and the clinics in the city, in addition to visiting the health center and inspecting the services it provides to citizens.

Education Minister Hazwan al-Waz briefed the delegation on the taken measures for the restoration of schools at the areas liberated by the Syrian Arab army before the beginning of the new schoolyear to be able to receive the largest possible number of students at schools.

The delegation also visited the temporary housing center in al-Harjala and the complex of schools.

Al-Hirjala Mayor Abdul-Rahman al-Khatib who supervises the temporary housing center told journalists that the center currently embraces 700 persons, and tomorrow it will receive 1500 persons as the number and the number of the received people will reach 7,000  from the locals of Kefraya and al-Fouaa and all their needs will be guaranteed.
