Moscow, SANA- Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko called for expanding the international cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and raising the level of dialogue among the politicians to a new one.
In a letter on the occasion of Solidarity Day in Fighting terrorism, TaASS news agency quoted Matviyenko as saying that the international cooperation should be expanded, expertise should be exchanged and created the field for a completely new level of dialogue among the politicians, leaders and representatives of the civil society.
The Russian diplomat stressed the impossibility of combating terrorism and establishing a stable barrier in front of the ideology of terrorism and extremism except by joint efforts.
She pointed out to the importance of adopting a firm stance in facing terrorism, which is considered as a social evil that poses a threat on modern civilization, hinders people’s lives and damages the spiritual heritage and the cultural of humanity.
