Deir Ezzor/Aleppo, SANA-Units of Syrian Arab Army secured points previously infiltrated by Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said that army units, supported by allied forces, carried out intensive operation against Daesh terrorists who managed during the past two days to infiltrate to a number of military points and important areas in the direction of al-Jalaa, al-Hasrat and al-Sayal towns on the western bank of the Euphrates River in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The reporter added that scores of terrorists were killed or injured due to the operation in addition to the destruction of their vehicles and equipment.
Army foils al-Nusra infiltration attempt in Aleppo countryside
A Syrian Arab Army unit, in cooperation with allied forces, thwarted an infiltration attempt by a terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra towards a number of military points in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo.
SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that an army unit, backed by allied forces, clashed with 15 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra while trying to infiltrate towards the military points in the direction of Khan Touman town in the southwestern countryside of the province.
The violent clashes were accompanied by the army’s artillery shelling, killing and injuring of all of the terrorist group’s members and destroying their equipment.
