Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, confirmed that the terrorist organizations in Ghouta are still violating the UN Security Council resolution 2401 by preventing civilians from leaving and targeting neighborhoods of Damascus with shells.

Zakharova said in a press conference in Moscow on Thursday that the terrorists in Ghouta continue to violate UN resolution 2401 demanding cessation of combat activities in Syria where the terrorist organization of the so-called  Failaq al-Rahman shelled the civilians who tried to exit through the safe humanitarian corridor, leaving a number of civilians martyred or injured, including women and children, as they are still targeting residential neighborhoods in Damascus with shells.

She indicated that two new corridors have been opened between Jisreen and al-Mliha and in Harasta region and a number of civilians, including 20 children, were liberated.
