Ministerial delegation visits a number of vital facilities in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, SANA – The ministerial delegation, headed by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem, continued its work visit to the province of Deir Ezzor, where extensive meetings were held with the directors of the service departments and institutions operating there.

The delegation, which also includes members of the People’s Assembly, discussed with the parties concerned the works executed in the framework of rehabilitation of Deir Ezzor facilities and infrastructure.

The delegation toured the electricity station of al-Talae’ and inspected the work carried out in preparation for the return of electricity to the province.

Members of the delegation also visited the fuel station of Mahrouqat company and were briefed on the mechanism of work flow and the availability of the oil derivatives.

Director of Deir Ezzor Mahrouqat branch, Waseem Ja’aila, said that the oil derivatives are available in Deir al-Zour.

Then, they toured al-Assad hospital and examined the health services provided to the citizens, in addition to the scale of damage caused by terrorist acts.

The ministerial delegation was briefed on executed work in the oil field of al-Nayshan, which has returned to work with the efforts of local cadres and the Syrian Arab Army, which will contribute to supporting the national economy.
