Iran calls upon Turkey to stop its aggression on Syrian territories

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Bahram Qassemi reiterated the call on Turkey to stop its aggression on Syrian territories soonest possible, stressing the need for respecting Syria’s sovereignty.

During his weekly press conference in Tehran on Monday, Qassemi said that the Turkish new aggression on the Syrian territories will bring back terrorism, adding that the Syrian government should have a control over all its land.

The Iranian diplomat noted that Iran seriously follows up the ongoing developments in Syria and in Afrin area, saying “We have been in constant contact with Turkey about the latest developments in Syria.”
