Aleppo, SANA-Aleppo Governor, Hussein Diab, discussed on Friday with Massimo Diana, the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Syria, the situation of relief and humanitarian work in Syria and means to enhance joint cooperation and implement more effective projects for locals of the province.
Diab said that the province needs support in the services field due to the massive destruction caused by terrorist acts, calling on the UNFPA and international humanitarian organizations to cooperate more in the implementation of the required projects in Aleppo.
For his part, Diana said that the Fund works on rehabilitating al-Zabdia Center in addition to its intention to supply Aleppo governorate with mammography device for early detection of breast cancer.
