Deir Ezzor, SANA – A unit of the Syrian Arab Army secured the arrival of a number of families from the countryside of al-Mayadeen to the city of Deir Ezzor after they were liberated from ISIS terrorists.
After arriving to the city of Deir Ezzor, all the basic needs have been provided to the families and they are currently residing at temporary makeshifts in the city, SANA reporter in Deir Ezzor said.
In turn, the evacuees expressed their happiness as they managed to escape from ISIS terrorism, calling on civilians who live in the areas where ISIS is positioned to head to the nearest points of the Syrian Arab Army.
On October 14th, the Syrian Arab Army restored control over al-Mayadeen city, which was considered as one of the main strongholds of ISIS in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.
