Damascus, SANA_ Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad said that victories of the Syrian Arab Army on terrorism are an achievement for those who are fighting the methods of hegemony and domination.
During activities of the central organizational session of Syrian Students’ National Union held Friday, Mikdad added that Syria’s legendary steadfastness has foiled the hegemonic scheme planned for the region and the world by Israel, the United States and Western countries.
What has been happening in Syria is a Zionist plot hatched by the Zionist organizations and was executed by the Western countries and their agents, he indicated.
Mikdad went on to say that the Syrian Arab army is advancing in the Syrian desert despite the clear cooperation between the US and ISIS terrorists.
He touched upon the Washington-led coalition’s consecutive attacks against Syrian civilians and infrastructure, stressing that the coalition had admitted it had killed 735 Syrian citizens without hearing any international reaction towards these massacres.
Mikdad noted that Syria considers the issue of the Syrian Kurds as an internal issue related to one of the components of the Syrian people.
He emphasized the unity of Syria which rejects any form of partition.
Mikdad held the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan responsible for the bloodshed in Syria and Turkey.
Regarding the referendum held in northern Iraq, he said that Syria stands by the unity of the Iraqi territories and people.
