Damascus, SANA – Minister of Public Works and Housing Hussein Arnous discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation with the Iranian delegation participating in Re-Build Syria Expo, headed by Iranian Minister of Energy.

Both sides focused in their discussions on the preparations for the post-war reconstruction stage.

Minister Arnous noted that Iran’s participation in the Expo was the largest, with 25 companies that “enriched the Expo with building and construction requirements, equipment and vehicles,” calling for establishing joint construction companies.

Minister of Water Resources Nabil al-Hassan also met an Iranian technical delegation, chaired by Iranian Deputy Minister of Energy, and discussed with them means to have a fruitful cooperation between the Syrian and Iranian companies concerned, especially in the fields of water, sewage and irrigation systems.
