Ministerial delegation visits liberated areas in southern countryside of Raqqa

Raqqa, SANA – The ministerial Committee in charge of following up on the reconstruction projects in Aleppo visited on Tuesday al-Thawrah oil field, Dibsi Afnan town and al-Rasafa Castle after army has restored security to these sites.

Public Works and Housing Minister Hussein Arnous said that the government will develop plans and programs for urgent and immediate rehabilitation of areas that are now under the control of the Syrian Arab army in preparation for the return of families to their homes.

For his part, Interior Minister Mohammed al-Shaar affirmed that police points will be reactivated and full support will be provided to these areas to ensure their security and to provide safety and security to the residents.

In turn, Local Administration and Environment Minister Hussein Makhlouf stressed that the ministry will begin to develop plans and programs and reactivate their administrative units to rehabilitate these areas to accelerate the return of the people.

On June 30th, army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces, established control over the entire area stretching from al-Rasafa in the southern countryside of Raqqa to the town of Athrya in the eastern countryside of Hama and liberated 13 villages and farms and a number of highlands and strategic points.
