Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will slightly rise, yet they will remain below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and that rain showers will fall over different areas across the country.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average and the skies will be cloudy to cloudy and rainy over most areas while the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, particularly over the coastal, the northern and inland areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/6, Daraa 17/7, Homs 15/8, Lattakia 19/15, Aleppo 15/6 and Deir Ezzor 17/10.
