Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain below average as the country is still affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a wet air mass.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy sometimes as heavy rains will fall and they will be accompanied by thunders sometimes.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height while tomorrow the weather conditions will witness no changes.
On Saturday, the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers are expected over the northeastern areas while the temperatures will rise to become around average.
Different amounts of rainfalls were registered in some of the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus Countryside 32 mm, Sweida 54 mm, Daraa 45 mm, Quneitra 20 mm, Homs
13,9 mm and in Hama 7,5 mm.
