Deir Ezzor, June 6 (SANA) Water authorities in Deir Ezzor have restored full operations at seven water stations across the province following improved conditions after water levels in the Euphrates River stabilized.

The General Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation said the stations were brought back into service after technical and service equipment previously removed as a precaution during earlier flooding risks was reinstalled.

According to the company, the stations include al-Kasra, al-Qasabi, Safira “Gas Line,” al-Shaafa, Abu Hamam 1, al-Majawda, and al-Shuhail al-Gharbi.

The company added that technical teams remain on standby to restore remaining stations that were taken out of service due to rising river levels.

Earlier, the Ministry of Energy said it had reactivated five additional water stations in the Deir Ezzor countryside following rehabilitation works and the installation of technical equipment and electrical panels after water levels receded.
