ARABOSAI affirms its continued technical and technological support for Syria

Abu Dhabi, SANA-Fadila Al-Qarqouri, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), welcomed the return of the Syrian Arab Republic to the organization and affirmed its support for Syria.

Al-Qarqouri told the Emirati news agency, “Erem News,” that this return “is not merely an administrative or technical measure, but rather represents a clear message confirming that joint Arab oversight work is ongoing, and that the principles of transparency, integrity, and accountability remain above all other considerations, especially in the light of the challenges.”

She asserted that the organization will continue to provide technical and technological support for the Syrian Audit Bureau, with the aim of enabling it to regain its natural role within the Arab oversight system, enhancing its contribution to developing professional practices, exchanging experiences and unifying principles and standards.
