The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Deir ez-Zor Province, in cooperation with the Internal Security Directorate, arrested a drug dealer who was attempting to bring narcotics into the city for distribution, the Interior Ministry said Monday.
According to a statement posted on the ministry’s Telegram channel, authorities seized 46 packages of hashish weighing a total of 19.14 kilograms, along with 11,000 Captagon pills.
The suspect was referred to the competent authorities for legal action, the ministry concluded.
