London, Aug. 14 (SANA) Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has received four Guinness World Records certificates recognizing achievements in the Premier League, Champions League and international football.
The Norwegian forward received the certificates at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
Haaland holds the record for most goals in a single Premier League season after scoring 36 times in 35 appearances in 2022-2023, surpassing Mohamed Salah’s 32-goal mark from 2017-2018 and the previous 34-goal record set by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer in 42-match seasons.
He was also recognized as the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, achieving the milestone in December 2025.
At international level, Haaland is the UEFA Nations League’s all-time leading scorer, with 19 goals for Norway between 2020 and 2024.
Haaland also shares the record for most goals in a single Champions League match after scoring five against RB Leipzig on March 14, 2023. Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano have also scored five goals in a Champions League match.
