London, May 25 (SANA) Manchester City striker Erling Haaland won the Premier League Golden Boot for the third time after finishing the 2025-26 season with 27 goals, five more than Brentford forward Igor Thiago.
The Norwegian previously topped the league scoring charts with 36 goals in 2022-23 and 27 in 2023-24. Only Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah, who have each won the award four times, have claimed the prize more often.
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins finished as the highest-scoring English player with 16 goals after netting twice against Manchester City on the final day of the season.
Chelsea’s João Pedro and Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White scored 15 goals each, while Arsenal’s Viktor Gyökeres and Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin ended the campaign on 14.
Haaland has now scored 112 goals in 132 Premier League appearances and became the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the competition, reaching the milestone in 111 matches.
