Damascus, Oct. 2 (SANA) Minister of Education Mohammad Abdulrahman Turko and Presidential Adviser Mustafa Abdi (Mazloum Abdi) discussed mechanisms for implementing Decree No. 13 of 2026 and its executive instructions, particularly measures to provide Kurdish-language textbooks and teachers.
The Ministry of Education said on its Telegram channel Friday that the meeting also addressed completing procedures related to education integration.
Deputy Minister of Education for Educational Affairs Youssef Annan attended the meeting.
On June 19, Turko announced that about 38,000 male and female teachers who had previously worked within institutions of the former Autonomous Administration had been integrated into the national education system.
