Trump calls Iran response to U.S. proposals “unacceptable”
US President Donald Trump

Washington, May 11 (SANA) U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that Iran’s response to American proposals aimed at ending the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran was “completely unacceptable.”

Trump said he had seen the Iranian response which was delivered through Pakistan, saying he didn’t “like it at all.”

“I have just read the response from the so-called representatives of Iran, and I did not like it at all. It is completely unacceptable,” Trump said in a post on the Truth Social platform.

Earlier on Sunday, Iranian media reported that Tehran’s response stressed the need to end the conflict on all fronts, lift sanctions and end what it described as a naval blockade imposed on Iran.

Trump said earlier in the day that his administration expected to receive Iran’s response “very soon,” adding that Tehran “really wants to make a deal.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, meanwhile, accused Washington of using “military pressure” alongside diplomatic efforts.
