Madrid, May 13 (SANA) Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed regional and international developments on Wednesday with his Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares Bueno, in Madrid.
The two ministers voiced concern over escalating tensions in the region and underscored the need to maintain ceasefires in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon, prioritize diplomatic solutions and ensure maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The ministers also praised the continued development of bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with progress achieved in areas of shared priority and cooperation.
Albares renewed Spain’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and Jordan in confronting Iranian attacks they had faced, commending the Kingdom’s “balanced and responsible approach” toward de-escalation efforts.
