Jordan Condemns Israeli Aggression on Qatari Capital, Doha

Amman, SANA – Jordan strongly condemned on Tuesday the Israeli aggression on the Qatari capital, Doha, stating that it constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter, as well as a flagrant attack on the sovereignty and security of the brotherly country.

Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fouad al-Majali emphasized that the Kingdom categorically rejects and strongly condemns this Israeli attack, which constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of an Arab state.

He added that the Israeli aggression is a dangerous and unacceptable act of provocation that pushes the region towards further violence and conflict, thus threatening regional and international security and stability.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated the Kingdom’s full support and solidarity with its sister nation, Qatar, and its commitment to the stability and territorial integrity of Qatar and its citizens, as well as its support for any measures it takes to protect its security and sovereignty.

Al-Majali called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to end its dangerous escalation in the region and its ongoing attacks on Arab countries, abide by the rules of international law and international humanitarian law, as well as international resolutions.
