Astana, SANA- Kazakh Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov expressed his country’s readiness to host talks on the crisis in Syria in Astana next week.
Russian Sputnik news agency quoted Abdrakhmanov as saying to reporters Tuesday that “The readiness is full on the part of Kazakhstan… I propose to consider January 23 the working date of the planned meeting.”
Talks are scheduled to be held in Astana next Monday to help moving the settlement process of the crisis in Syria, particularly after reaching the cessation of hostilities agreement.
In a similar context, a source close to the Administration of the US President Donald Trump said that the Administration will consider the invitation on attending the Syrian talks in Astana after officially receiving it.
