Moscow, SANA – Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed in a phone call the situation in Syria and bilateral relations.
Kremlin’s press service said in a statement that Putin and Erdogan confirmed in a telephone conversation made by the Turkish side on Thursday that the agreement reached on the cessation of hostilities “has been observed by and large”..
“It was agreed to step up active joint efforts to prepare for intra-Syrian negotiations in Astana,” according to the statement.
