Daraa, SANA – Ten persons were injured, including 8 women, due to a mortar attack by Jabhat al-Nusra on terrorists the residential neighborhoods of Daraa city on Tuesday.
The head of Daraa Health Directorate Dr. Abd al-Wadod al-Homsi told SANA that 10 persons were injured, 2 of them in critical situation, when terrorist organizations fired shells on al-Sabil and al-Mattar neighborhoods in Daraa city, adding that the injured persons were rushed to Daraa National hospital, the Polyclinics Compound, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch for treatment.
For his part, director of Daraa National Hospital Dr. Bassam al-Hariri said that the hospital received 8 injured persons aged between 14 and 50 years.
In turn, number of the injured persons told SANA reporter that the attack took place at the time when students leave their schools.
SANA’s correspondent in Daraa had reported that terrorists located in al-Nazihin Camp in Daraa al-Balad area fired 5 mortar rounds at al-Sabil neighborhood, injuring 5 people, 3 of them women, and causing material damage to properties.
Material damage in terrorist explosive device blast in Aleppo city
Meanwhile, terrorists blew up an explosive device in the area surrounding al-Azizia square in Aleppo city, causing material damage only.
SANA reporter in Aleppo said that the explosion of the explosive device which was planted by terrorists in the area surrounding al-Azizia square caused no human casualities.
