Moscow, SANA-Russian President’s representative to the Middle East, Deputy Foreign Minister Michael Bogdanov discussed on Tuesday with the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad the situation in Aleppo in light of the progress achieved by the Syrian Arab army in the field of combating terrorism and restoring security and stability to the Syrian northern city.
“The two sides exchanged viewpoints on the developments of military, humanitarian and political situation in Aleppo as talks focused on the situation in Aleppo’s eastern neighborhoods in light of the active tasks of the Syrian army in counter-terrorism and the need for delivering humanitarian aid to the residents,” Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian foreign Ministry as saying in a statement.
