Temperatures to drop, rain expected in most areas across the country

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly rise, yet remain lower than average from 2 to 3 degrees as the country is affected by a high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that skies are clear in general, with some scattered clouds, warning against frost on the mountainous heights and the inland areas.

The winds will be northeastern of low speed, while the sea waves will be of low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 17/02, Daraa 18/04, Homs 19/-4, Hama 17/-2, Lattakia 23/08, Aleppo 16/03 and Deir Ezzor 20/01.
