Lattakia, SANA – Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center revealed that it started preparations for sending humanitarian aid to areas in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city where terrorists were expelled.
The Center pointed out in a statement published by Sputnik news agency that those neighborhoods will return to peaceful life after gunmen are forced out of them and local authorities are formed to maintain security there in cooperation with the authorities concerned from the Governorate and the Center.
It added that the Syrian army forces have significantly advanced toward eastern parts of Aleppo city over the past two days. Five neighborhoods and over 2,000 buildings have been freed from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and affiliated groups.
Yesterday, an army unit in cooperation with the supporting forces established full control over Masaken Hanano and the surrounding area in Aleppo after eliminating all the terrorist groups there.
