Aleppo Governor: Terrorists still preventing people of eastern neighborhoods from exiting via humanitarian passages

Aleppo, SANA – Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab affirmed that armed terrorist groups are still preventing the people of the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo from exiting them via the humanitarian passages designated by the Syrian Army and the Russian side, as the terrorists want to use locals as human shields.

During a visit of Bustan al-Qaser passage on Saturday, Diab said the Governorate has finished preparations to receive locals from the eastern neighborhoods, such as providing makeshift housing centers, transportation, and medical and relief services.

He affirmed the government’s concern for the people of the eastern neighborhoods, calling on all those who were misled into bearing arms to resolve their status and benefit from the amnesty decree issues by President Bashar al-Assad.

For the third day in a row, terrorists are preventing the people of the eastern neighborhoods from leaving them via the aforementioned passages so that they can use the locals as human shields and so that the states supporting and sponsoring these terrorists can exploit the humanitarian issue in the city.

A humanitarian pause began on Thursday in order to evacuate civilians from the eastern neighborhoods along with gunmen.
