Damascus/Aleppo, SANA – Terrorists of “Jaish al-Islam” and “Al-Rahman Legion” targeted on Wednesday Damascus city with mortar shells, injuring a child and causing material damage in the areas where the shells hit.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that two mortar shells landed in Mazzeh 86 neighborhood, leaving a 5 -year-old child injured and causing material damage to houses and two cars parked in the site.
The source added that another mortar shell hit a house in al-Hamidiyeh area in the Old City of Damascus, while two others landed in al-Mazraa neighborhood, causing material damage only.
The source pointed out that terrorists fired five rocket shells, one of them landed on the roof of al-Zobair Bin al-Awam School in al-Shaghour neighborhood while another one landed in the area surrounding it.
Another rocket shell hit al-Mayssat Square and two others targeted Eish al-Warwar neighborhood in Barza area.
The source said that the five shells caused material damage to the school, cars, shops and public properties.

Five persons were killed, 13 others were injured due to terrorist attacks with shells on the residential neighborhoods of Aleppo city.
A source at Aleppo Police Command said that terrorists fired a number of rocket shells on the citizens’ houses in the neighborhoods of al-Manshia, Sheikh Taha and Bustan al-Basha in Aleppo city, claiming the lives of five persons and injuring 13 others.
