Damascus, SANA – The temperatures are above average by 3 to 5 degrees as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be changeable to southwesterly of low speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/16, Daraa 33/16, Homs 32/15, Lattakia 29/19, Aleppo 31/16 and Deir Ezzor 33/16.
