Aleppo, SANA – Aleppo Governorate has implemented the project of repairing and paving Aleppo-al-Ramousa road after it was damaged due to the terrorist groups’ attacks with a cost nearing SYP 50 million.
Head of Studies Department at Aleppo City Council Eng. Hassan Kiwan clarified that maintenance and paving works have been carried out speedily after the Syrian Arab Army established control over al-Ramousa area.
For his part, Eng. Samir Khijo, Director of Roads Project at Aleppo Branch of the Military Construction Establishment said the damaged part of the road was 800 m long and 9 m wide, adding that the maintenance team has exerted great efforts to quickly repair the road given its strategic position, implementing the task in 48 hours.
Last month, the Syrian Army in cooperation with the allied forces restored al-Ramousa neighborhood in southern Aleppo city after intensified operations in which dozens of terrorists were killed.
