Damascus, SANA-Higher Education Minister Atef Naddaf discussed on Thursday with Indian Ambassador in Syria Man Mohan Bhanot means to enhance and develop the joint cultural and scientific cooperation.
The minister asserted on the necessity of working by the scientific program between the two sides and increasing the number of academic scholarships, especially in the field of graduate studies to contribute to scientific capacity building.
He hailed the Indian support for the Syrian government and people in their war against terrorism.
For his part, Indian Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to offer all support for the educational sector in Syria as well as providing scholarships in herbal remedies and other specialties.
