Syria, Algeria discuss enhancing cooperation relations in all fields

Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister Imad Khamis received on Sunday Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Dr. Saleh Bosha and discussed with him the cooperation relations between Syria and Algeria in all fields.

The two sides also discussed the means to increase the trade exchange between them through activating current signed agreements, singing new ones and enhancing the joint cooperation in transport and industry sectors.

Premier Khamis underlined the Syrian government’s desire to raise the level of economic and trade relations between the two countries and develop them for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples.

In turn, Bosha said that Algeria calls for solving the crisis in Syria politically to ensure the unity and independence of Syria and prevent all forms of external interference in its internal affairs.

He pointed out his country’s desire to accelerate the pace of improving economic relations and increasing the volume of trade exchange, adding that “We have strong convictions about the Syrians’ rights and we are confident about the future of Syria.”
