Beirut, SANA – The former Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour reiterated that the political solution through intra-Syrian talks paves the way to solve the crisis in Syria.
Mansour, in an article published by the Lebanese al-Binaa newspaper, considered that the Russian-US agreement on Syria a step forward towards resolving the crisis if the US and its allies have good intentions to end the deteriorating situation in Syria and eradicate the terrorist organizations.
He added that Israeli entity is the major beneficiary of the war on Syria, not to mention some parties whose main aim is to destabilize this safe and secure country while other regional and Arab states still strive to topple the Syrian government.
Mansour underlined Syria’s steadfastness and the unity of its people and army which changed the viewpoints of western countries and helped them realize the reality of terrorism which hit Syria and Iraq and it is now spreading to the West.
He expressed confidence that Syria and the axis of resistance will achieve victory.
