Putin, members of Russian Security Council discuss situation in Syria

Moscow, SANA – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin on Monday discussed the Syrian crisis with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council in the wake of the latest agreement reached between Russia and the US.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that “the situation in Syria was discussed at the meeting in the context of the recent Russian-American agreement.”

Peskov added that the Russian Defense Minister,   during the meeting, presented a detailed report about the recently conducted Kavkaz-2016 military exercises.
